Your daily English task

Write your friend a message that leads to real conversation

Write a short text message to a friend. Your message should: (1) say hello, (2) ask one question, and (3) suggest a simple time to talk face to face or do an activity together in person. If you need a friend to practice with, post it to this video's YouTube comments section and I will correct your message and reply back!

For example

Hey! I’m thinking about what you said last week. What have you been enjoying lately? Are you free sometime this week to grab a coffee and catch up in person?

Think about the kind of friend you want to be for someone. Write 4–6 sentences that answer this: What makes a friendship feel meaningful for you, and what would you do to keep it strong?
